Global logistics giant Prologis has acquired five properties in Sweden from Estea Logistic Properties 5 for an undisclosed sum.
The 77,000 m2 portfolio, which is 100% leased, comprises modern Class-A facilities in Stockholm, Eskilstuna, Borås and Jönköping ranging from 6,900 to 30,000 m2.
'This acquisition reflects Prologis' commitment to Sweden’s growing logistics market,' commented Bram Verhoeven, senior vice president, country manager, Prologis Benelux/Nordics. 'Demand is strong in Sweden — we have been almost 100% occupied since the start of 2002, and this transaction speaks to our response to that demand.'
As of end-December 2016, Prologis owned approximately 369,000 m2 of logistics and distribution space in Sweden, making it one of the country’s leading providers of logistics real estate.
Prologis was advised by JLL and CBRE acted for Estea Logistic Properties.
