Prologis has acquired 15,900 m2 of distribution space near London's Heathrow Airport from SWIP Property Trust and Centurion Properties.
In a statement, Prologis said the property comprises a terrace of four refurbished units that are fully let to DX Network Services and Tourvest Duty Fee (UK). With easy access to both the M4 and M25 motorways, Lakeside Industrial Estate is four miles from Heathrow Airport.
The price for the property at Lakeside Industrial Estate, Colnbrook was not announced.
'The acquisition at Lakeside Industrial Estate is in line with our strategy to invest in prime locations across London and the South East,' said Andrew Griffiths, managing director of Prologis UK.
Kerri Hunter, deputy manager of the SWIP Property Trust, added: 'When we bought Colnbrook, it was part vacant with some short term income. Since then we've refurbished it and secured a strong letting which has attracted a lot of interest from investors.'
DRTE acted for Prologis and SWIP Property Trust was represented by Savills.
Prologis owned and managed 1.8 million m2 of logistics and distribution space in the UK at end-March 2014.
