French asset manager Primonial REIM has appointed Nicolas Leonnard as new director in charge of asset management within the group.
French asset manager Primonial REIM has appointed Nicolas Leonnard as new director in charge of asset management within the group.
Leonnard, who is joining from AEW Europe where he held the post of head of asset management for seven years, will be responsible for the group's €5 bn portfolio including office, retail and healthcare assets.
He will also be in charge of the group's portfolio sales programme.
Prior to AEW Europe, Leonnard worked as asset manager at Unibail-Rodamco and AXA REIM.
Primonial REIM manages 16 real estate funds for retail and institutional investors. In 2014, the group raised net equity of €474 mln for its SCPI funds, making it the largest equity raiser in France for this type of funds for the second consecutive year.
