Entitled 'After the Gold Rush', the International Council of Shopping Center's annual conference in Prague from 28-29 April 2010 will look at the post-crisis retail landscape and which strategies investors, developers and retailers are formulating to deal with the new environment.

Entitled 'After the Gold Rush', the International Council of Shopping Center's annual conference in Prague from 28-29 April 2010 will look at the post-crisis retail landscape and which strategies investors, developers and retailers are formulating to deal with the new environment.

Sustainable growth will be a key theme, as will attitudes to risk and debt, behavioural economics and what it takes to be a retail winner in 2010. A forum of CEOs including Glenn Aaronson of Multi Corporation, Isaac Kalisvaart of developer MAB, Stefan Gross of Ikea Russia and Marcus Wild of SES Spar European Shopping Centers will debate what is needed to engender sustainable growth.

Environmental sustainability will also feature prominently with a number of lunchtime roundtables devoted to the subject. Future retailing trends and emerging markets will come under scrutiny, and the conference will also see the presentation of the European Shopping Centre Awards, picked from a shortlist of 19 finalists.
