The UKs largest budget hotel operator, Premier Inn, has appointed King Sturge as a retained agent for Greater London to assist in their strategy for growth to add to its existing portfolio of 48 hotels within the M25. King Sturge will join existing retained agent Cropper & Co.
The UKs largest budget hotel operator, Premier Inn, has appointed King Sturge as a retained agent for Greater London to assist in their strategy for growth to add to its existing portfolio of 48 hotels within the M25. King Sturge will join existing retained agent Cropper & Co.
Premier Inn has requirements in 47 locations across London as part of a national expansion programme, aiming to add 15,000 rooms to its UK portfolio. It will consider new builds or conversions of existing buildings (including offices, hotels and hostels), with mixed use schemes also of interest. Premier Inn offer institutionally attractive leases that provide deliverable projects and will also consider freeholds.
New hotels have recently opened at Ealing (Hanger Lane) and Sunbury-on-Thames with a further hotel opening in Greenwich in January 2011. They are currently on-site at Stratford near the Olympic Park and recently announced plans for a new hotel in Leicester Square. In total there is over 1 million square feet within the Premier Inn pipeline for London.
