Premico’s current interim-CEO, Jyrki Kaskinen, will continue on the board of the company and as a partner.

Kiehelä's previous roles include several years in CBRE's capital markets division, rising most recently to lead the company's capital markets business in the Nordics.

Prior to his regional role, he was in an instrumental role in growing the company's business in Finland. He has strong business credentials and also brings extensive real estate market knowledge to Premico, the firm said.

Janne Vaula, chairman of the board of Premico, commented: 'I am delighted that Sami will be leading our company in the future, we confidently leave the business in his capable hands.

'There is significant potential to further strengthen and enhance our capabilities, and considering his unique set of skills and background Sami is ideally positioned to step into the role and to help take Premico through its next stage of development.'

Said Kiehelä: 'I am very excited to have the opportunity to join Premico. The company has a great combination of deep hands-on expertise in managing and developing residential assets and investments and is very well placed to further grow its market position in the coming years.

'I strongly believe my background and previous roles will help to lead the next phase of the company's development.'

Premico specialises in residential assets with an emphasis on decarbonising the residential sector.
