Prelios wins property management tender for two Italian government funds

The property management arm of the Rome-based Prelios Group was awarded the contracts by Invimit SGR, an asset management company owned by the Italian Ministry of Economy and Finance, following a public tender. 

The mandates are for Fondo i3-INAIL and Fondo i3-Patrimonio Italia.

Fund i3-INAIL is a closed-end fund targeting institutional investors, with properties contributed by the Italian government and the non-profit goverment agency INAIL (National Institute for Insurance against Accidents at Work). The fund owns 100,000 m2 of real estate spread across 35 properties in 12 Italian regions.

Fund i3-Patrimonio Italia is a closed-end fund for properties leased to the public authorities, currently made up of 52 assets located across Italy. Another eight assets are to be added to the portfolio shortly, increasing the total surface area to 340,000 m2.
