Pramerica Real Estate Investors has appointed Jocelyn de Verdelon to the new role of head of France, based in the firm's Paris office.

Pramerica Real Estate Investors has appointed Jocelyn de Verdelon to the new role of head of France, based in the firm's Paris office.

De Verdelon will also sit on Pramerica's European executive committee. He joins the company from Altarea-Cogedim Group in Paris, where he worked from 2005, most recently in the role of office investments director.

In this position, he was responsible for the sourcing and execution of all acquisitions, focusing on value-add and opportunistic deals, as well as playing a key role in the fundraising, development and asset management activities at the company. He was also a member of the Altarea-Cogedim executive management committee.

Before joining Altarea-Cogedim, he spent three years at Entreprise Minière et Chimique, as special advisor to the chief executive officer, working on the company’s privatisation and asset disposal programme.

Pramerica's French office covers France, Belgium and Luxembourg, and has invested more than €1.0 bn across 30 assets on behalf of investors.
