Construction work on the Élou development in Santo António dos Cavaleiros, municipality of Loures, will start soon and is due to be completed in 2026.

The closed condominium is composed of 266 apartments, spread over 17 buildings, with one- to five-bedroom apartments ranging from 49 m2 to 149 m2 and balconies and terraces with areas up to 137 m2. The 17 buildings have a common leisure area comprising 4,110 m2.

Gonçalo Cadete, managing partner of Solyd Property Developers, said: ‘This project reflects our concerns for sustainability - in response to the climate challenges and the need for greater efficiency in the sector. We are sure that the quality and rigor that we are instilling in this project will have a good reception in the market. It intends to give an answer to the housing problem in the country, with competitive prices in the market.’

The Élou project will have electric vehicle charging and parking spaces for people with reduced mobility and for bicycles. It will feature high-performance thermal and acoustic insulation on the roof, facades and frames, significantly reducing the building's energy needs.

The condominium will also feature solar panels on the roof, heat pumps, lighting in the atriums, circulation areas, and private green spaces, as well as low-energy elevators.

The property is located a few minutes from Lisbon, with easy access to public transportation, schools, health services, and commerce.

Designed by architect Cristina Rocheta and built by Transfor, the project is being marketed by Castelhana and ERA.
