Polish investor-developer Echo Investment is starting the construction of the Q22 155-metre high office tower in the business centre of Warsaw, its largest project to date.
'I am convinced that Q22 will set a new standard for business in Warsaw,' commented Piotr Gromniak, president of the board at Echo Investment.
Designed by architects Kury³owicz & Associates and Buro Happold Polska, the building is being developed at the site of the demolished Mercure hotel and will offer nearly 50,000 m2 of office space on completion planned for the first quarter of 2016.
The project involves a development cost of PLN 500 mln (€115 mln).
Listed on the Warsaw stock exchange, Echo manages investments in Poland, Romania, Hungary and in Ukraine. In Warsaw Echo Investment is currently developing the Park Rozwoju office project with an area of 34,000 m2.
