PointPark Properties (P3) has started construction of a 26,743 m2 expansion to PointPark's production and distribution facility in Poznan for one of its tenants.
After delivery, promotional product supplier PF Logo Express - part of PF Concept - will occupy almost 50,000 m2 at the Poznan logistics park, making it P3’s largest tenant in Poland.
PF Concept designs and produces promotional gift products such as umbrellas, lighters, posters and T-shirts on behalf of more than 9,000 customers operating in over 60 countries.
The company’s existing 23,000 m2 facility at PointPark Poznan was opened in 2011 and houses a specialised decoration unit to customise products produced elsewhere to the needs of these customers, who include some of the world’s leading brands. Some 600 people are currently employed at the plant, which was tailored to meet PF Concept’s requirements.
The new facility will increase PF Concept’s storage capacity, allowing it to expand its business in Western Europe. Construction began in September 2013 and delivery is expected in the first quarter of 2014.
PointPark Poznan is located some 10 km from Poznan, close to the A2 highway that since 2012 provides Warsaw with an unbroken motorway link to Berlin and Western Europe. The park has total space of 194,569 m2, including BTS opportunities for five buildings covering 131,000 m2.
