Russian warehouse developer PNK Group is to start the development of a new warehouse complex known as PNK-Yekaterinburg in the Sverdlovsk region of Russia.

The warehouse complex will have a total area of 125,000 m2 and a warehousing area of 98,000 m2. Construction work will begin in Q3 2014, with delivery planned for 2016.

The new complex will consist of traditional warehouse premises as well as build-to-suit elements and will be constructed in line with the requirements of insurance group FM Global.

Later in 2014, PNK Group said it plans to launch two more large-scale industrial projects. 'Our decision to launch a new warehouse project in Yekaterinburg has been primarily driven by the very small amount of high-quality warehouse projects currently presented in the Ural region,' commented Oleg Mamaev, executive director at PNK Group.
