Plaza, a subsidiary of Israeli public company Elbit Medical Imaging, holds a 75% stake in the Casa Radio project, while the Romanian Government controls 15%.

The centre will be built on a 9.2 hectare site near the city's main Gara de Nord train station, Plaza Centers said. The project will include a 132,000 m2 shopping centre, a casino, hotel and convention center. Two 135-metre towers, each with 53,000 m2 of space, will be among the tallest buildings in Bucharest. Construction is scheduled to begin early next year.
