Global Consulting Partners is planning to develop a major residential and leisure complex in Picon, a small town in the Castilla La Mancha region of central Spain. The company plans to build homes, retail stores, hotels and a golf course on 6.5 million m[sup]2[/sup] of land.

Global Consulting Partners is planning to develop a major residential and leisure complex in Picon, a small town in the Castilla La Mancha region of central Spain. The company plans to build homes, retail stores, hotels and a golf course on 6.5 million m2 of land.

The company's shareholders include the Sacresa group, Domingo Diaz de Mera and Jose Carabante, as well as Barco brothers. Sacresa is the Sanahuia family-owned property company, which is the largest shareholder in Metrovacesa. Diaz de Mera and Carabante hold 15% and 6,67% stakes respectively in Inmoracal.

The company has already sought planning permission from the Picon municipality, Bolsacinco reported. Picon, with 600 residents, is 14 km from Ciudad Real and 20 km from Don Quijote airport.
