Pieter Foekens, corporate real estate manager at Flora Holland, the largest combined flower auction house in the world, has been appointed the new chairman of CoreNet Global’s Benelux Chapter, part of the international association of corporate real estate executives.

Pieter Foekens, corporate real estate manager at Flora Holland, the largest combined flower auction house in the world, has been appointed the new chairman of CoreNet Global’s Benelux Chapter, part of the international association of corporate real estate executives.

Currently serving as the Benelux Chapter co-chair, Foekens joined the board in 2010, with a commitment to build awareness of the role of occupiers in the real estate market.

He joined Flora Holland in 2007, and is currently responsible for a 2.5 million m2 portfolio across the Netherlands, including logistics, commercial and office space. Prior to this, he was real estate manager at Meeùs.

Foekens succeeds Monique Arkesteijn, assistant professor real estate management and development at Delft University of Technology.
