Global real estate investment manager LaSalle has appointed Philip La Pierre as its new head of Continental Europe based in Munich following a short stint at Luxembourg-based investor Corestate Capital.
‘Philip’s experience and knowledge of European real estate markets will reinforce our position on the Continent, particularly in Germany,’ LaSalle's CEO for Europe Simon Marrison said.
In his new job La Pierre will oversee operations and strategies in Europe ex-UK. He will be responsible for the acquisitions, asset management and fund management teams across all Continental Europe. He will also be joining the European Management Board.
Until autumn last year, La Pierre was head of investment for Europe at Hamburg-based Union Investment.
‘The Continent is an important component of the overall global business and I look forward to growing the platform as well as achieving our long-term vision,’ said La Pierre.
