Dutch pension fund PGGM’s Chief Investment Officer (CIO) Johan van der Ende will leave the company on 1 November 2010. PGGM cited differences in ‘mutual expectations’ within the company’s executive committee as the reason for Van der Ende’s departure.

Van der Ende has worked at PGGM, the second-largest pension fund in the Netherlands, since mid-2006, for the past two years as CIO. He became a member of the newly formed Executive Committee on 1 January 2010. Johan van der Ende’s duties will be assumed on a temporary basis by Jac. Kragt, who has been with PGGM since 2008.
