French asset manager Perial said on Wednesday that it has obtained the green light from the financial market authority AMF for the launch of its first OPCI vehicle, Majestal I. The new investment vehicle will have a core plus-value added strategy and will have a life term of 12 years. The fund will have a warchest of EUR 120 mln with leverage.

'The fund will be focused on the realisation of eight to 10 operations to create value from corporate properties in France,' said Frédéric Crot, president of the OPCI.
Perial said the OPCI has already agreed an acquisition for EUR 20 mln, with other purchases currently being studied.
