Patrizia Immobiliën has appointed Peret Bergmann (42) as the new managing director of its spezialfonds for institutitional investors Patrizia WohnInvest KAG (PWI).

Patrizia Immobiliën has appointed Peret Bergmann (42) as the new managing director of its spezialfonds for institutitional investors Patrizia WohnInvest KAG (PWI).

Bergmann is a lawyer specialising in property and tax law and was latterly involved as general manager in the founding of a service alternative investment fund manager (AIFM). Before that, he held a management role at Bouwfonds Investment Management.

Bergmann has been involved with the 'Service AIFM' business model for years, both on the side of the service provider and the outsourcing partner.

Founded in 2007, PWI is responsible for seven real estate funds with a total investment volume of over €2 bn. Together with Patrizia GewerbeInvest KAG (PGI) and other Patrizia investment platforms in Europe, PWI’s tasks include platform administration within the Patrizia Group. As a Service-AIFM, PWI will take on in particular commercial administration, accounting, registration, reporting, expert support, risk management and outsourcing controlling for institutional customers. Both platforms, PWI and PGI, have already achieved the conversion to the new regulatory requirements for an AIFMD .
