Italian property firm Percassi has finalised the acquisition of the historic Crespi d’Adda scheme in Capriate San Gervasio, northern Italy, for an undisclosed amount.
The building, covering an area of 135,000 m2, was added to the Unesco World Heritage List in 1995 and dates back to 1878 when it was used as a textile factory by the Crespi family. It provides around 90,000 m2 of space.
Percassi will bring together its two offices in Bergamo and Milan to this location, which will house its new headquarters from 2015.
Percassi is the investment vehicle of the Italian Percassi family which is active in property development and in the retail sector. Key development projects include Westfield Milan, the San Pellegrino Outlet Village, as well as the Franciacorta and Valdichiana Outlet Villages.
