Listed Swedish property group Fabege has commissioned construction firm Peab to build a new office complex in the Stockholm region for European energy giant Vattenfall. The contract is valued at SEK 850 mln (EUR 80 mln).
Listed Swedish property group Fabege has commissioned construction firm Peab to build a new office complex in the Stockholm region for European energy giant Vattenfall. The contract is valued at SEK 850 mln (EUR 80 mln).
The Nordic division of Vattenfall, the fifth-largest energy group in Europe, will rent the complex located next to Swedbank Arena in Solna. The property will be divided into four units with 2,000 workplaces. Peab said cutting-edge techniques will be used to ensure the finished building adheres to very low-energy consumption standards.
Construction of the turn-key contract is to commence in the beginning of 2010.
