German lender pbb Deutsche Pfandbriefbank has provided a €160 mln refinancing facility to private equity firm HighBrook Investors secured on The Collection office-portfolio, which are all located in and around the canal belt in Amsterdam.
The portfolio comprises of eleven historic office assets with an average space of 2,250 m2 per asset, newly branded as The Collection. The office buildings are called Chapters, located in prime locations in City Center Amsterdam.
Norbert Müller, head of Real Estate Finance Continental Europe West at pbb Deutsche Pfandbriefbank, commented: ‘We are delighted to complete this transaction with HighBrook Investors and to support our strategic client to establish the unique concept which provides not only a comprehensive office portfolio in a prime location but also a full service available for tenants across the whole portfolio. All in all this marks a landmark transaction for our Dutch lending business.’
