Pbb Deutsche Pfandbriefbank and Helaba have jointly provided a €163 mln senior loan to Tishman Speyer to finance its recent Paris tower deal.

Tishman Speyer announced last week that it was acquiring the Pacific Tower in Paris’ business district La Défense from Canadian group Ivanhoe Cambridge in a deal said to be worth some €215 mln. Tishman Speyer is acting as the asset manager and equity partner.

The €163 mln loan was arranged by the Paris offices of Pbb and Helaba and signed in April 2013. The two banks are acting as co-arrangers and hedge providers on a 50/50 basis and Helaba is acting as agent.
