Paul van Stiphout, a well-known and long-standing industry professional with former roles at APG Asset Management, CBRE Investment Management and Catella, has launched strategic consulting business, Allegory Real Estate Solutions.
The company will aid institutional investors investment managers and operators in real estate with a variety of challenges, be it ad-hoc, project-based, interim or fractional, he said in a statement.
He explained: 'Markets are undergoing a multi-faceted transition, with concurrent and fundamental shifts taking place in the financials, economics, the environment, technology and demographics.'
'This is bound to present overlooked risks and underappreciated opportunities.'
'I am looking forward to leveraging my expertise, creativity and network to help existing and new industry participants navigate these complexities and achieve their goals and ambitions.'
Van Stiphout was with APG in Amsterdam for nine years from November 2010 to October 2019, holding responsibility for all aspects of private real estate investing and managing.
He left to join CBRE IM for two years as global portfolio manager of the indirect real estate team before a one-year spell with Catella, which he left this summer.
