The Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (Sior) has appointed Paul Danks to the Sior global board as the international representative member for the next two years.
Sior is a global professional office and industrial real estate association for real estate professionals.
Danks is a director of DRG Group and consultant to 3PL Real Estate.
Meanwhile Patricia J. Loveall has assumed the role of Sior global president. Loveall has 30 years of commercial real estate experience specialising in industrial sales and leasing. She is a partner and director of Kidder Mathews.
Commenting on his appointment, Danks said: 'Sior has been growing steadily over the last few years, we’ve now got over 3,600 members in 722 cities across 45 countries, so I’m very much looking forward to helping lead the associations efforts.
'Sior members are recognised by occupiers, developers and owners together with CRE executives, lenders, and other real estate professionals as the most capable and experienced advisory and brokerage practitioners in any market.'
Danks is a trusted European advisor to leading occupiers worldwide. He has over 40 years’ experience in working with leading global corporations developing strategies to maximise value and minimise costs. His responsibilities include working with clients to improve the visibility and performance of their real estate portfolios.
