The Sheraton Grand Warsaw hotel is to reopen on June 15 to the relief of owner, Patron Capital.
The five-star, 350-bed landmark hotel closed its doors at the end of March.
Its Asian restaurant InAzia resumed business on May 28 and now the date has been set for guests to be able to stay.
London-based Patron Capital acquired the property in March 2019 from a consortium comprising Benson Elliot Capital Management, Walton Street, and Shroder Real Estate Hotels for an undisclosed sum.
In a joint venture with Schroder Real Estate Hotels, Patron subsequently undertook further capital expenditure by upgrading the lobby, opening a new Italian restaurant and renovating InAzia following €6 mln of earlier improvements by the previous consortium.
A glitzy relaunch party was held on December 4.
The Sheraton Warsaw Hotel is operated by Marriott International. It is located in the embassy district of the Polish capital.
