Pan-European real estate investor Patrizia has appointed Mahdi Mokrane as its new head of investment strategy & research.
Patrizia said that Mokrane will join the firm 'in due course' from LaSalle Investment Management in London, where for the past six years he has been head of European research and strategy and a member of its European management board.

Mokrane will be tasked with creating 'greater interconnections between the company’s investment solutions in Europe as well as globally through Patrizia multi manager, and with its client offices in North America and Asia-Pacific', the firm said.
Prior to joining LaSalle, French-born Mokrane worked at AEW Europe, where he was head of research and strategy and a member of the company’s European investment and global securities allocation committees. Before joining AEW, he held the position of director for research and training at IPD in France from 2001 to 2004.
