Italy's Parsitalia Real Estate has started the construction of the Eurosky tower in the Eur business district of Rome, Chief Executive Luca Parnasi said during a presentation of the project at the Expo Italia Real Estate fair in Milan last week. The scheme, which is set to become Italy's tallest residential tower, will reach a height of 120 metres across 28 floors.

The scheme, which is set to become Italy's tallest residential tower, will reach a height of 120 metres across 28 floors.
Designed by architect Franco Purini, Eurosky will provide 24,000 m2 of residential space and 3,000 m2 of office accomodation within the Europarco business park of the Italian capital. Development costs are put at over EUR 100 mln. Parnasi said that he expects to complete the construction of the tower by year-end 2012.
Developer Parsitalia, owned by the Italian Parnasi family, currently has a number of ongoing projects in Rome, including the development of the Città del Sole mixed-use centre in a joint venture with Hines as well as the Olgiata and Eur-Colombo projects.
