US logistics developer Panattoni Europe has bought 60,000 m2 of land in Grebocin near Torun, Northern Poland for the development of a new logistics facility, Panattoni Park Torun. According to a Panattoni spokesperson, the new built-to-suit complex is being developed for Cereal Partners Poland Torun-Pacific (CPP), a manufacturer and distributor of breakfast cereals part of the Nestle and General Mills conglomerate.

The park will offer around 30,000 m2 of warehousing and office space. CPP, which will be the sole tenant in the building, has agreed on a 10-year lease and a renew option. Colliers International represented Panattoni Poland on the transaction. The project is scheduled to be completed by the end of the year.

'The new warehouse in Grebocin will certainly facilitate and improve services provided to our business partners at home and abroad,' said Jaroslaw Szczepanowski of CPP.

Also in Poland, Belgian property developer Ghelamco said this week that it has started the development of the Senator office project in Warsaw. The complex will provide 25,000 m2 of space over six floors on completion in 2012. Discussions with potential tenants are ongoing, it added.
