The project will take up more than 10,000 m2 at Panattoni Park Bialystok. Production will be launched by early September this year, and at the initial stage of operations the plant will employ about 200 people.

This is the second polish project Panattoni has been assigned by Pilkington, part of Tokyo-listed glass manufactureer NSG Group. The first was a 35,000 m2 automotive glass factory in Tarnobrzeg, in the Tarnobrzeg Special Economic Zone in south east of the country.

Following the completion of the Tarnobrzeg facility, Panattoni is set to build a manufacturing plant for Pilkington IGP which will make glass units and metal racks for glass. The 9,113 m2 industrial space and 936 m2 of social and office space will be delivered as part of Panattoni Park Bialystok. Operations will be launched as early as the beginning of September 2018. The lease was signed for 10 years.

The development of a processing plant by Panattoni Europe will strengthen Pilkington’s position in the region, as well as facilitate customer service. The facility will feature four state-of-the-art production lines making glass units with glass cutting systems. A glass tempering furnace will also be installed. Pilkington IGP has operated in Bialystok area from another site for a number of years.

Panattoni Park Bialystok is an up-and-coming investment by the developer, featuring 40,620 m2 of space, situated within the administrative city limits of Bialystok, not far from the city bypass and 60 km from the border crossing in Kuznica. The investment is approx. 1 km away from the European route E67 (road S8), connecting Wroclaw, Lódz, Warsaw and Bialystok.
