The facility is planned to cover more than 100,000 m2 and has already secured its first tenant. A 23,300 m2 logistics centre will be adapted for a supplier of industrial, hydraulic and automotive components, with customised picking line solutions, structured cabling and infrastructure for compressed air installations. The facility will also contain around 2,500 m2 of office space.

The building is due to be completed in August 2019.

Panattoni's other developments in Legnica include a 30,000 m2 facility for Lear Corporation, a 13,600 m2 development for Faurecia and a factory under construction for Voss Fluid spanning 10,000 m2.

Maciej Madejak, managing director of Panattoni Europe, said the development established Legnica, which lies 75 km from Wroclaw, 170 km from Prague and 200 km from Berlin, as one of the top logistics locations in Poland. 'The park will comprise four facilities, planned to total in excess of 100,000 m2, situated just 6 km from a motorway entrance to the A4 and 3 km from the S3 route,' he said.
