Commercial real estate developer Panattoni has secured a €75 mln loan from Citibank (London Branch) to finance the construction of the Panattoni Park Sulechów III.
The logistics centre, initially planned as a 90,000 m2 facility to accommodate an e-commerce operator, was expanded by 46,000 m2 due to high demand.
The development incorporates bespoke features, including multi-level pick towers to optimize warehouse space and meet the client's specific logistics requirements.
Emilia Taczewska-Trojanska, head of Debt Finance Poland at Panattoni, said: ‘Due to the confidence of our partner – Citibank – we were able to finance one of the largest logistics centres in the Lubusz region. Here, an international company now has an excellent base where it can expand its European activities, in particular its e-commerce operations. We are pleased that this project will result in the strengthening of our client’s market position.’
The BREEAM Excellent-certified building incorporates sustainable features like BMS systems, energy-efficient lighting, and a solar panel-ready roof. The design also prioritizes employee well-being with ample natural light in offices and an outdoor relaxation area.
