Panattoni has secured €20.7 mln in financing from Bank Millennium to develop a built-to-suit logistics hub for Auchan Polska in Wilcza Góra near Warsaw.
Using automated systems based on artificial intelligence and machine learning, the 18,000 m2 warehouse will play a vital role in Auchan’s e-commerce infrastructure, enabling faster and more effective order processing, Panattoni said.
The company is targeting a BREEAM Excellent rating for the facility.
‘The financing from Bank Millennium will allow us to deliver an advanced, high-tech facility of strategic importance to our client. The integration of automated systems will enable Auchan to significantly streamline its operations and scale its e-commerce business in Poland,’ stated Emilia Taczewska-Trojanska, head of debt finance Poland at Panattoni.
Construction began in the third quarter of this year and the work is scheduled for completion in June 2025.
