Logistics property specialist Panattoni has secured a €20 mln loan from mBank for the development of Panattoni Park Szczecin V in Poland.
The logistics park will comprise 30,000 m2 of which around a third has already been leased to a client from the food and hospitality sector.
'Because of its strategic location and its well developed infrastructure, the Western Pomeranian region is on of the key emerging markets in the country. Panattoni has already delivered almost 800,000 m2 of modern industrial space there and the company is continuing to grow its portfolio,' said Karina Trojanska, Chief Financing & Operating Officer at Panattoni.
Specialist food firm Bidfood Farutex has leased over 8,600 m2 in the park.
Panattoni Park Szczecin V is located around 20 minutes from both the centre of Szczecin and the German border. This will allow the park to be used for logistics, e-commerce, warehousing and light production. The scheme is targeting a BREEAM Excellent rating.
