Logistics property specialist Panattoni has announced the appointment of Laurent Jayr as its new head of development for Spain and Portugal.
Among his responsibilities, Jayr will be in charge of looking for new development opportunities for the company, through the acquisition of land for the implementation of projects for both investors and clients.
Jayr joins Panattoni from VGP, where he has held the position of head of development for the past three years. In total he has 18 years of experience in the real estate sector, especially in the development of turnkey and speculative projects, as well as in the management of asset portfolios and local teams.
He started his career in 2003, as business manager of GSE Spain, a company to which he returned during the years 2016 and 2017 as head of development. From 2006 to 2009 he was head of development at ABCD Ibérica, and between 2010 and 2015 covered the post of business strategy manager and sales manager for Abertis/Saba Parques Logísticos.
