Panattoni Europe is building a warehouse facility for Amazon in Poland totalling 161,500 m2 of space.
The e-commerce fulfilment centre will be erected in Kolbaskowo, near Szczecin. Completion of the project, representing a €95 mln investment, is planned for September 2017.
'The fact that Amazon commissions Panattoni Europe to develop one of the world’s most advanced logistics centres, gives cause for pride. Our region yet again proves to be capable of taking on such a great and important undertaking,' said Robert Dobrzycki, CEO Europe, Panattoni Europe.
'The excellent connections to the rest of Western Europe, make Northern Poland, and particularly Szczecin, a place of keen interest to international investors. Now that interest is bound to get even stronger, due to this exceptional project for Amazon, the online retail giant,' Dobrzycki added.
The scheme represents Panattoni Europe’s fourth project for Amazon, after the construction of two other facilities in Poland, near Poznan and Wroclaw, as well one in the Czech Republic.
