Officially opening in August, the warehouse will initially operate with 44,000 m2 of capacity, with an expansion option for a further 20,000 m2.

Neonet owns over 300 electronic good stores and the new space will store the full range of products, processing multi-channel sales across Poland.

The park’s location in central Poland, close to the S14 expressway and nearly 35 km from the junction of the A1 and A2 motorways, is ideal to serve Neonet’s customers and stationary stores throughout Poland.

The lease transaction was mediated by consultancy Colliers International.

Katarzyna Kujawiak, development director, Panattoni commented: ‘The electronic goods market is growing rapidly, driven by the steady increase in the consumption of small and large electronic devices, including household appliances. We have already delivered more than one million m2 for various chains. Our experience in servicing this industry, as well as our activity in the strategically-located Central Poland market, have made us the ideal partner for the development of trans-regional projects. We are delighted that the Neonet chain saw in Panattoni an opportunity for cooperating on the next step in its growth on the domestic market – and we believe that this is not the last time we will cooperate in this way.’

Panattoni Park Lódz-Pabianice will eventually comprise 123,000 m2 in four buildings, with the construction work on the second to start in Q4 2022.

The facilities will offer a wide range of solutions for warehousing and logistics, distribution and light production.

The logistics park will include water and energy saving systems and will be BREEAM ‘Excellent’ certified.

It will also feature green zones with pocket parks, office rooms that have been acoustically tested and have undergone thermal comfort analysis, in addition to an air quality plan.
