CEE industrial specialist Panattoni Europe has inked a sixth development deal with e-commerce giant Amazon, this time for a logistics facility covering 44,800 m2 in Pawlikowice near Lódz, Poland.
Financial details were not disclosed.
According to Panattoni, the investment is planned for completion by the end of 2019, and will be BREEAM certified, with a 'very good' target.
'The strength of the project lies in its location,' said Marek Dobrzycki, managing director Panattoni Europe. 'The short distance from the main city of the region – Lódz – make this e-commerce logistics centre attractive for potential employees. Commuters will be able to use 312 parking spaces for cars and 22 for minibuses.'
To date, the developer has delivered 685,500 m2 of space to Amazon, including four schemes in Poland - on the outskirts of Poznan, Szczecin, Wroclaw and Sosnowiec - as well as a facility near Prague in the Czech Republic.
