Panattoni Europe has purchased 180,000 m2 of land for a new distribution complex in the Polish city of Poznan.
The European industry property specialist also announced that it has begun construction of a 35,000 m2 building, which will constitute the first phase of the new facility, Panattoni Park Poznan IV in Komorniki.
The first tenant is Komputronik, a distributor of IT products and consumer electronics and the operator of an online electronics store in Poland. Under the lease, the company will take up 10,000 m2 of space. Completion of the first phase is scheduled for February 2015.
Once fully built, Panattoni Park Poznan IV will offer 116,500 m2 of lettable space, giving Panattoni more than 320,000 m2 of warehouse space in the region.
