Rudert joins from GreenOak, where he was a principal, focusing on asset management across Europe for the last eight years. Prior to that, he spent three years at Citi Property Investors, working as an asset manager for its pan-European fund. He started his career in asset management at Archon Group, a Goldman Sachs company, working across the US, Italy and France.

'With a wealth of asset management experience, Gabriel is well placed to drive strong returns for our investors as we look to identify opportunities where we can create value through repositioning and a proactive and creative approach to real estate investing,' said Reda Khatim, founder and managing partner at Palm Capital.

Commented Rudert: 'This is an interesting time to join the well-respected team at Palm Capital. The company has an exceptional selection of assets and a particular focus on sectors with significant upside potential – including its UK office repositioning and European urban logistics strategies.

'Having previously worked with Reda and others on the team while at Citi Property Investors, I am excited to re-join them as we look to drive value on existing and future investments.'

Rudert, who is fluent in French and Italian, has a BBA in Real Estate and Urban Land Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
