Pan-European logistics real estate owner P3 has signed an agreement to develop a 23,445 m2 built-to-suit distribution centre for lifestyle retail group VF in Prague.
The building is being developed next to VF Corporation’s existing 40,000 m2 premises which opened at P3's D8 logistics park to the north of Prague.
Construction of the extension has just started with completion scheduled for April 2016. It will provide VF, owner of premium lifestyle retail brands including Vans, The North Face, Wrangler and Timberland, with an additional 19,869 m2 of warehousing and 3,576 m2 of offices. VF will have 106,000 m2 at the D8 park.
VF initially moved to D8 in 2004 and has since made the park one of the main hubs in the company's European distribution network.
P3’s D8 Prague logistics park is located close to Exit 1 of the D8 motorway that links the Czech Republic to Dresden and Berlin. D8 is one of 14 warehouse facilities owned by P3 in the Czech Republic.
