PointPark Properties has signed up for its largest build-to-suit (BTS) project in Europe in the last five years after receiving a mandate to develop VF Corporation's new European distribution hub.
The new 39,187 m2 facility will be built for VF Corporation, owner of out-door clothing, footwear and equipment brands such as the North Face and Timberland.
'VF Corporation’s decision to expand at PointPark Prague D8 is a reflection of the park’s excellent infrastructure and location,' commented Tomas Micek, country head P3 Czech Republic.
VF Corporation has been present at PointPark Prague D8 since 2005, and currently leases almost 33,000 m2 at the park. The new facility will enable the company to consolidate activities from a number of distribution operations under a single roof.
Construction of the new warehouse will begin in Q2 2014, with completion expected in 2015.
PointPark Prague D8 currently consists of five buildings covering over 70,000 m2.
