Industrial specialist P3 Logistic Parks has appointed Léon Vié as managing director Netherlands & Belgium.
Heading P3’s regional team, Vié will be in charge of the Netherlands and Belgium where the company intends to significantly grow over the next years.
He joins P3 from Global Logistics Properties, where he held the role of fund & asset manager for Europe. Prior to that, Vié co-founded and headed fund management company Equity Estate for almost two decades.
Vié holds a degree in structural and architectural engineering from the University of Applied Science in Amsterdam and is a trained quantity surveyor.
At P3, Vié will work closely with Paul Kadiks, head of asset management Netherlands & Belgium, who joined the company in the first half of 2021. The Dutch team will serve its clients from its office next to Rotterdam central station with the aim to open an office in Amsterdam in the near future.
Frank Pörschke, CEO at P3 Logistic Parks, said: 'With Léon Vié, we have an experienced logistics expert on board, who deeply understands the Benelux market.
'The region has always been a key target market for P3 Logistic Parks, but with Brexit and the pandemic-related boost in e-commerce and third-party logistics, it has become a cornerstone of our growth strategy. We are excited to welcome Léon to our Dutch team to lead the expansion of P3’s presence in the Netherlands and Belgium.'
Vié added: 'I am enthusiastic to start my position at P3 – a fast-growing company that is on top of innovations in the logistics sector.
'Due to the geographic location of the Benelux, their openness to foreign trade and high standards in construction and sustainability, the Dutch & Belgium markets are occupying a central position in the economy of Western Europe. I am looking forward to growing and managing P3’s portfolio in this highly attractive market environment.'
