Dutch developer OVG signed an agreement with local government officials at the Provada real estate fair in Amsterdam this week that will see international courier and mail firm TNT to base its headquarters in the 'greenest' office building in the Netherlands. TNT will be the 'launching customer' for the 70,000 m[sup]2[/sup] Beukenhorst Zuid office park project being developed by OVG and financial group Triodos in accordance with strict sustainability standards in Hoofddorp near Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. TNT will occupy a 17,000 m[sup]2[/sup] building in the first phase. OVG and the local council said TNT's headquarters will score more than 1,000 points on the GreenCalc scale and will achieve a Platinum LEEAD level. 'As a result TNT's office will be the greenest building in the Netherlands,' OVG said.
