Dutch green office developer OVG is to take full control of its joint venture in Germany as Jürgen Bischoff, co-founder of OVG Bischoff, is retiring.

Bischoff set up the JV in his native Germany with OVG founder and CEO Coen van Oostrom in 2012.

Martin Rodeck, currently head of the Office Traffic Industries unit at Hamburg-based shopping centre specialist ECE, is coming in as managing director of the German business, which is being renamed as OVG Real Estate.

Van Oostrom said that, ‘with Martin Rodeck, we strengthen our know-how and I am pleased that Jürgen Bischoff will continue to support us’. Bischoff will 'remain associated' with OVG Real Estate as an advisor.

OVG Real Estate is one of the largest project developers and investors in the Netherlands. Founded in 1997, the Rotterdam-based company has built up a reputation as a developer of sustainable and innovative buildings. In Berlin, OVG is currently building HumboldtHafenEins and developing the office building M_EINS in the Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg district.
