Dutch developer OVG has started construction for the new Avery Dennison head office and research & development centre in the Leiden Bio Science Park, in the Netherlands.
OVG Real Estate is also currently developing an R&D centre for Danone in Utrecht.
'OVG wants to lead from the front, also in the development of sustainable research & development centres. We are proud to have been asked to build the head office and R&D centre for Avery Dennison Materials Group Europe. It is not only an important project for the Leiden Bio Science Park, but also for the Dutch economy,' said Coen van Oostrom, CEO of OVG Real Estate.
Avery Dennison Materials Group Europe's head office and R&D centre was designed by architect Paul de Ruiter, and is located in the Netherlands' top research park within easy reach of Schiphol, Leiden, The Hague and Amsterdam.
The project is targeting a BREEAM-NL Very Good certificate. The 12,000 m2 development is scheduled for completion in 2014.
