OVG Real Estate has reached an agreement to sell the Sonion office in Hoofddorp near Amsterdam to Fidelity Worldwide Investment.

OVG Real Estate has reached an agreement to sell the Sonion office in Hoofddorp near Amsterdam to Fidelity Worldwide Investment.

Financial details were not disclosed. The building comprising around 4,800 m2 and 96 parking spaces, has a BREEAM-NL Very Good certificate and is located on the Taurusavenue in the Beukenhorst Zuid district of Hoofddorp.

The four-story building consists of laboratories, research facilities, offices and a semi-underground car park and is let to Sonion on a 10-year lease. Sonion is a world leader in the design and production of miniature components and hearing aid, audio equipment and medical equipment solutions.

The Sonion office is OVG's fourth development in the area following neighbours Asics, TNT office and Schneider Electric.

Fidelity Worldwide Investments is one of the largest global providers of financial products and services to professional clients, companies and private individuals, managing a total capital of more than €180 bn. This transaction is their first real estate purchase in the Netherlands.
