OVG Projectontwikkeling and MDG Europe Management signed an agreement with the local government of Tilburg on Monday for a new 100,000 m[sup]2[/sup] 'mega mall' in the southern Dutch city. It is estimated the investment volume will be in the region of EUR 400 mln.

The mall will be built on an 18-hectare site which was previously used by the Dutch military as a munitions storage facility. Officials of Nord Brabant province, the owner of the land, has already signed off on the scheme. American-based MDG owns the Roermond and Rosada factory outlet centres in the Netherlands, while OVG is one of the largest commercial developers in the country.
