Private Dutch developer OVG has named Jeppe de Boer as chief investment officer and member of the board. His appointment is aimed at increasing OVG’s access to the capital markets to secure funds for the company’s international growth strategy.
De Boer has broad experience in European property finance. He previously worked as head of real estate banking with Renaissance Capital in Moscow. Prior to this he was executive director real estate advisory at Goldman Sachs and vice-president at ABN Amro Bank.
Commenting on the appointment, Coen van Oostrom, CEO at OVG Real Estate, said: ‘We want to play a leading international role in sustainable real estate. Our growth ambitions require a more advanced financing strategy, which is why the time is ripe to appoint a chief investment officer. Various financing options are possible, such as the establishment of funds. These would focus on new builds as well as the redevelopment of offices at top locations in Europe.’
