OSU awards Viedekke €41m contract for Oslo residential project

The Vannkunsten Syd in Bjørvika consists of five separate buildings in three different sizes, featuring Otta slate rust façades, with with 91 apartments.

The overall size of the project is 15,500 m2, of which 12,400 m2 are homes with underground parking and 3,100 m2 commercial areas.

The project will be certified in accordance with the BREEAM NOR Very Good environmental standard.

The Vannkunsten project has been developed in two phases, where the first nine buildings north of Bispekilen were completed in 2021.

The shortest buildings will be closest to the sea, and the buildings increase in height the closer you get to the city.

Virtually none of the apartments are the same – some are on two levels, while others have private access to the waterfront from the balcony, with their own jetty.

Common to all are functional floor plans, good lighting conditions with plenty of natural light, high standards of interior design and materials, and a private balcony or terrace.

Residents will have access to various facilities and services, including a common room for social gatherings with kitchen, cloakroom and toilet, as well as a storage area.

Construction is scheduled to start in September, with completion expected in the autumn of 2025.
